Nashville’s In Color is back with their first offering since their 2025 Snow Day EP, and it’s a “Big Deal”—literally. The new release effortlessly interwines pop-rock sonics with shoegaze and just a hint of Midwest emo, and we are so here for it.
In Color says of the new song, “‘Big Deal’ lands somewhere between shoegaze and pop. It’s a song about doing something wrong, but feeling emotionally overwhelmed and passionate enough to go through with it, not fully understanding the repercussions. A dreamy guitar melody and snappy drums quickly evolve into heavily distorted guitars and a massive groove.”
